In girls' basketball:
Rantoul 73, Olympia 42. Junior Hannah Wascher reached 1,000 career points with her first basket and finished with 21 points, leading the Eagles to a home victory. Rantoul outscored Olympia 29-9 in the first quarter to seize control.
Urbana Uni High 61, Buckley Christ Lutheran 26. Jamie Blue scored 25 points, nearly matching BCL's total, to lead the Illineks to a home victory. Emma Hoyer of Uni (18-3, 6-0 ECIC) barely missed a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. Kaila Simpson grabbed 13 of the Illineks' 44 rebounds.
Arthur Okaw Christian 41, Danville First Baptist 27. Hanna Erwin sank three three-pointers and scored 15 points to lead Okaw Christian to a road win. Rachel Wells paced First Baptist with five points.
Normal Calvary 46, Judah Christian 37. Despite 18 points, eight rebounds, five assists and five steals by Leslee Chambers, the Tribe fell to visiting Normal Calvary. Kristina Lee led Judah in rebounds with 11, including six on the offensive end.
GCMS 58, Lexington 44. Senior guard Angel Gaesser racked up 23 points, helping the Falcons pull away to a home win.
Villa Grove 60, Martinsville 33. Kayla Dowler had three three-pointers and scored 17 points for the Blue Devils in a home victory. Alix Ezell and Courtney Helm added 10 points apiece for Villa Grove.
Shiloh 59, Cerro Gordo 28. Shiloh built a 26-8 halftime lead in rolling to a home win. Larissa Moses had 30 points and 15 rebounds for the Raiders (21-4, 5-0 Little Okaw Valley). Arionna Gant led the Broncos with 10 points.
El Paso-Gridley 75, Blue Ridge 48. Jacquelyn O'Neal had 18 points and seven rebounds for the Knights in a road loss.
Armstrong-Potomac 46, Schlarman 37. Host A-P pulled away in the second half behind eight points apiece after the break from Morgan Zindars and Brooke Markwalder. Markwalder finished with a game-high 18 points and Zindars had 10. Janelle Marion scored 10 points for the Hilltoppers.
Oakwood 60, Chrisman 17. The Comets raced to a 25-2 first-quarter lead en route to a home victory. Makenzie Baker led Oakwood with 18 points. Freshman Delaney Durst, recently promoted to the Oakwood varsity, had her first double-figure game with 10 points.
Fisher 49, Fieldcrest 34. Elyssa Browning scored all 10 of her points in the first quarter, sparking the Bunnies' 19-9 getaway in a home win. Jacy Cochran had eight points, 15 rebounds, six assists and five steals for Fisher. Ashley Miller contributed nine points, eight steals and five assists to the victory.
Heritage 59, South Piatt 53. DALLAS McCORMICK nailed six three-pointers en route to a game-high 22 points, leading the Hawks to a road victory. KATIE LANNON (13 points) and MARY HAPP (12) also scored in double figures for Heritage. ALEX MILLER had 15 points to pace a balanced Wildcats attack in a losing effort.
Georgetown-Ridge Farm 49, Salt Fork 47. Brittany Hay had five blocks, including two in the final seconds, to help the Buffaloes hold on in a home win. Catie Brandt and Alyssa Sawyer combined for 27 points for G-RF, while Callan Hall contributed seven assists and nine rebounds.
Prairie Central 56, Mahomet-Seymour 55. Kristen Belyea scored 19 points and Amanda Wallace had 11 points and five assists for the Bulldogs in a home loss. Laura Crane scored 19 points for the Hawks, who rallied from a 34-22 halftime deficit.
Milford 54, Westville 50. Ashlen Portwood scored 24 points for Milford in a road win. Carson Richardson had 12 rebounds, nine points and four assists for Westville.
Tri-County 54, Arcola 36. Kyla Skinner and Autumn Meyer combined for 25 points for Tri-County in a road win. Taylor Edwards had 13 points, eight rebounds and six steals for Arcola, while Cara Edwards added eight points and 11 rebounds.
Bismarck-Henning 54, Hoopeston Area 20. Samantha Siddens and Brooke Walsh had 12 and 10 points, respectively, for the Blue Devils in a road win.

Heritage 54, Arthur 44. Heritage outscored Arthur 22-13 in the fourth quarter to pull away to a quarterfinal victory at Atwood. Brandon Umbarger, John Taylor and Keaten Kalk combined for 33 points in a balanced Hawks attack. Clayton Honn had 13 points for Arthur.
Arcola 59, Martinsville 54. Brett Lindenmeyer poured in 29 points for the Purple Riders in a quarterfinal win. Marty Thomas added 13 points for Arcola.
Cerro Gordo 65, Shiloh 48. Cerro Gordo built a 30-18 halftime lead in a quarterfinal win. Cody Woollen, Austin Crist and Tim Weaver combined for 34 points for the Broncos. Cole Bogle (12 points) and Andrew Donithan (11) led the Shiloh attack.
Okaw Valley 60, Tri-County 38. Luke Clapp's 12 points paced Tri-County in a quarterfinal loss.
