DANVILLE - Firefighters with Lynch Fire Protection District and other area departments are fighting a fire at one of Bryant Industries' buildings on Warrington Avenue west of Danville.
The large metal building was engulfed in flames and thick black smoke rolled high into the air as fire personnel arrived on the scene at about 10 a.m. this morning.
Firefighters are still on the scene battling the blaze.
The building, which sits more than 150 yards back from Warrington Avenue, is where Bryant employees disassemble vehicles for scrap, according to officials with Bryant Industries. The Warrington Avenue location is the headquarters for Bryant Industries, a scrap salvage and recycling business with locations in Westville, Danville and Tuscola.
