Unseasonably mild weather will continue through the rest of the week. High temperatures today will run almost 30-degrees above average.
A weak cool front will move through while bringing a few rain showers tonight. Although temperatures will be a little cooler after the front passes, highs Wednesday through Thursday will still reach well into the 40s, perhaps approaching 50-degrees on Friday.
A stronger cold front will move through Friday night and lower temperatures closer to seasonal norms this weekend. Meanwhile, a system will shift from the southern Plains into the lower Mississippi Valley. This will result in a bit of rain late Friday to Saturday.
Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for near- to above-normal temperatures nationwide.
