MAHOMET — The Mahomet-Seymour school board is inviting community members to offer their input as the search for a new school superintendent begins.
The public is welcome to attend two open sessions with Tom Leahy, search consultant from the Illinois Association of School Boards, next week. The school board has hired the state association to oversee the search and selection process.
Residents can attend a session from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday or from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Both sessions will take place in the conference room at Middletown Early Childhood Center.
Leahy will also meet with staff and administrators early next week, as well as representatives from community organizations.
