The new 102nd House District  includes all or parts of Champaign, Douglas, Edgar, Macon, Moultrie, Shelby and Vermilion counties.
As of Dec. 31, 2011, Brown had $14,677 on hand. Between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31, he reported more than $3,000 in individual contributions and $3,700 in political action committee contributions. Since Jan. 1 he has reported $1,000 in individual contributions and $54,300 in PAC contributions. His biggest contribution is $12,000 from the Stand for Children Illinois PAC based in Portland, Ore.
As of Dec. 31, Roman reported $3,081 on hand. Between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31, he reported $1,030 in individual contributions and no political action committee contributions. Since Jan. 1, he has reported a single $1,000 in contributions from Roger and Karon Busby of Brocton. Roman said he will not accept PAC contributions.
