URBANA — Four people were taken to an area hospital following an accident Monday afternoon in Urbana.
According to a state police report, Shalonda Jackson, 36, of Rantoul was driving a 2000 Ford Explorer west on Interstate 74 approaching the Cunningham Avenue exit when her vehicle got a flat tire at 2:36 p.m. Monday.
Jackson was unable to maintain control of the vehicle as a result of the flat tire and the vehicle began to swerve back and forth on the highway. It rolled over onto its roof and continued west for another 100 yards while it was spinning on the roof.
Jackson and three passengers — Richard Marsh, 56, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; Karneisha Carter, 20, of Champaign and Rahzaye Williams, 6 months, of Champaign — were able to get out of the vehicle without the help of emergency personnel.
Jackson, Marsh, Carter and Williams were all taken to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, where they were treated and released.
All four occupants of the vehicle were wearing seat belts, according to police.
No citations had been issued as of Monday night.

All 4 of those people are alive today thanks to their seat belts.
