While a few precincts have not been counted, Urbana and Champaign voters approved a measure allowing the cities to negotiate electric rates.
Voters reject tax rate increases in Somer Township.
Three districts approved tax increases to pay for Champaign fire protection.
A tax increase in the Blue Ridge school district passed by 17 votes out of more than 1,600 cast.
And a tax increase for Hindsboro ambulance service passed.
