n South Piatt 4, Tri-County 0. Connor Gross struck out 15 and did not walk a batter, in pitching a three-hit shutout. Shane Hall, Andy Webb and Andrew Jamison each had two hits for South Piatt. Dakota HarmOn had two hits for Tri-County.

n Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman 7, Westville 6. Dylan Cosat's bases-loaded hit with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning capped a three-run rally that carried the Buffaloes to a victory. Cosat and teammate Ryan Berry each had three hits, while Andy Cravens allowed one earned run while pitching a five-hitter for the win.
n Schlarman 9, Bismarck-Henning 1. Tyler Brennan struck out 17 and did not permit an earned run, leading the Hilltoppers to a home win. Alec Neal, who had two hits, and Clein Gard drove in two runs apiece for Schlarman.

In track & field
n At Urbana. Samone Thompson won the 200-meter dash and swept the 100 and 300 hurdles to lead Champaign Central to the team title in a three-school meet. Nicole Choquette of runner-up Urbana placed first in the 800 and 1,600, Lateshia Dove and Amber Marion of the Tigers each won an individual event and ran on two of their team's three first-place relays.
n At Mount Zion. Kandie Bloch-Jones was a triple-winner for Argenta-Oreana, which finished second in four-team meet. Bloch-Jones placed first in the 300 hurdles, triple jump and high jump. Haley Briggs of the Bombers won the 1,600 and 3,200.
