CASH KISER picked up his fourth win of the season, pitching 6 1/3 innings. CHASE THURSTON picked up his second save, retiring both batters he faced after entering the game with two runners on.
Centennial 8, Morris 1. The host Chargers got two hits apiece from LUCAS STEFAN and JOSH MANOLAKES while GREY SCHULTZ homered and drove in two runs.
Bismarck-Henning 11, Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman 8. The host Blue Devils got three hits and two RBI apiece from PATRICK GANLEY (two doubles) and STEPHEN KROUT. KRYSTIAN INGRAM (two RBI) and AUSTIN TOLER had two hits each. RYAN BERRY, JAKE BRASKER and KYLE KOBURN each had three hits for the Buffaloes.
Salt Fork 3, Armstrong-Potomac 2. COLE TAYLOR (RBI) and ROSS LEARNARD each had two hits for the visiting Storm. DAVID SACRE pitched three hitless innings in relief to earn the win. BRANDON SPARKS drove in two runs for the Trojans, who got 13 strikeouts from tough-luck losing pitcher D.J. DAVIS.
Tri-County 16, Arcola 2. PEDRO LEAL belted a two-run homer for the visiting Purple Riders.
Sullivan 3, Cumberland 0. JOSIAH DAVIDSON fired a one-hit shutout to pace the visiting Redskins at the Tuscola tournament. NICK FRERICHS went 3 for 3 and TAYLOR ATCHINSON had two hits.
Okaw Valley 5, Arthur-Lovington 4. TYLER SCHURING went 3 for 4 with a stolen base and a run for the host Knights.
East Central 7, South Piatt 2. Winning pitcher JOHN ESSIG (11 strikeouts) had two hits and two RBI to power the visiting Panthers. COLE BOGLE also had two hits.
Monticello 9, Rantoul 8. CHRIS DEAVILLE (three hits) and TANNER McCLAIN (two hits) each drove in three runs to pace the visiting Eagles. NICK STOKOWSKI and DAVID VANDERKLOOT each had two hits for Monticello.
Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman 5, Bismarck-Henning 3. Winning pitcher LACEY KRABEL pitched around four errors and allowed four hits. ALYSSA SAWYER doubled twice and drove in three runs for the Buffaloes.
Centennial 4, Charleston 3. The host Chargers fell behind 3-0, but after scoring a run in the third, COURTNEY STAMM hit a two-run triple with two outs to tie it. KATRINA LINDSEY's RBI single in the fifth proved to be the game-winner for the Chargers, who got two hits from LEXI HALL and an RBI double from BEKAH BAMERT. KATIE JANSON tossed a four-hitter and pitched around three errors to earn the win.
Hoopeston Area 11, Westville 10. The Cornjerkers' BROOKE KINNEY and MEGAN GRIMES each had three hits and two RBI. Westville's DANI GABEHART (two RBI) and ABBY BARTH (RBI) each had three hits.
Salt Fork 16, Armstrong-Potomac 3. KAYLN LEARNARD and JENNA BRYANT each homered for the visiting Storm.

At Shelbyville. Sullivan finished second to Central A&M at the girls' Shelbyville Open, thanks to two first-place finishes from freshman AMANDA McCLAIN (long jump, 400). PAIGE NEUHAUSER won the 200, and the 800 relay team was victorious.
