PHILO — Four teens were injured in a rollover crash west of Philo late Monday afternoon.
Champaign County sheriff's Sgt. Dan Coile said the accident happened on County Road 800 N near 1350 E at 4:40 p.m. Monday.
Aaron Branson, 16, was driving east on 800 N when he apparently took a curve in the road too fast and drove his car into a field where it rolled over several times.
He and three passengers, Austin Petty, 16, Devin Clark, 16, and Karson Gibbs, 13, were all injured and taken to Carle Foundation Hospital where they were treated and released.
Coile said Branson was issued tickets for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and for having too many passengers. Coile did not have addresses for the teens.
