CPCI 6, Iroquois West 3. STERLING YOUNG, ALEX RABE and ERIC BRUEGGERT all had two hits to lift the host Timberwolves. KEATON ZIRKLE and JACOB CARNEY collected two hits apiece for Iroquois West.
Mahomet-Seymour 10, Bloomington Central Catholic 0. BRAD HERRMANN picked up the win for the host Bulldogs, scattering four hits in a five-inning shutout. DALTON KERANS and TYLER FRANCISCO each had three hits for M-S, and TODD METZGER drove in three runs.
Milford 8, Kankakee Grace Baptist 3. Host Milford got two hits apiece from JORDAN GULLQUIST (four RBI), MAX McCABE (two RBI) and ALEX PORTWOOD (three runs).
Hoopeston Area 11, Bismarck-Henning 3. The visiting Cornjerkers were led by COREY RUDIN (two RBI) and CODY INMAN, who had three hits apiece.
St. Thomas More 12, Watseka 6. SEAN SULLIVAN homered, doubled and drove in three runs to lift the visiting Sabers, who scored five times in the second inning. MIKE RUBENACKER collected three hits and three RBI for STM. Watseka got a home run, double and four RBI from BROCK MYERS.
Tuscola 11, Windsor 3. DILLON HOEL went 5 for 5 with six RBI and hit for the cycle to power the visiting Warriors. PHILIP MEYER added three hits for Tuscola.
Lexington 12, Ridgeview 2. DANA BOSE doubled, tripled and drove in a run for the host Mustangs.
Paxton-Buckley-Loda 3, St. Joseph-Ogden 1. Visiting PBL got a two-run home run in the fifth inning from DAKOTA ZENNER to break a 1-1 tie. JORDAN GLAD picked up the win, tossing a three-hitter.
Marshall 9, Schlarman 6. BROCK DREWS tripled and scored twice for the host Hilltoppers, who led 6-4 entering the seventh inning.
Watseka 13, St. Thomas More 7. The host Warriors rallied from a 7-1 deficit in the third inning and got three hits, three runs and two RBI from HAYLEY GRAY. COLLEEN SUCHY had two hits and drove in four runs. STM got three doubles and two RBI from BROOKE SCHMIDT.
Olympia 7, Rantoul 1. The host Eagles tied the game at 1 on an RBI double by GRACE BJORNBAK in the fifth inning, but Olympia pulled away. SADIE ADKINS had three hits, including two triples.
Bismarck-Henning 12, Hoopeston Area 5. BRITTANY RIBBE (three hits, three runs) and LAUREN McKENZIE (two hits, two RBI) led the way for the host Blue Devils.
Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman 9, Paris 3. ALYSSA SAWYER collected three hits while BRITTANY HAY had two hits and scored three runs to lead the host Buffaloes.
Milford 23, Kankakee Grace Baptist 13. KYLIE SCHERF hit for the cycle and drove in four runs for the host Bearcats. L.E. HALL went 3 for 3, drove in three runs and scored three times.
Heritage 12, Centennial 4. BRITTANY LATHAM and DANI STIGERS each homered to lift the visiting Hawks.
In boys' tennis
At Danville. Champaign Central beat Danville 8-1 and got dominating victories from AUSTIN ATEN and PAUL MITCHELL, who each lost one game.
At Champaign. Centennial got standout performances from SUNNY SINGH, MAX ZHENG and AKSHAY KRISHNAMANI in a 9-0 win against Urbana.
In track & field
At Clifton. Iroquois West's girls finished second to Clifton Central in a quad and got wins from COURTNEY CONRAD (long jump, 300 hurdles), KAYLA ALVARADO (3,200, 1,600) and BAILEY LUND (800).
IW's boys were also second and got victories from IAN McDONALD (800) and the 800-meter relay team.
At Urbana. Danville's boys won a triangular against Mattoon and Urbana, thanks to double winners LADARIUS BARBER (100, 200), JOSH ROBINSON (110 hurdles, 300 hurdles) and CIRRON CLARK (pole vault, triple jump).
At Fairbury. Prairie Central won a girls' dual against Pontiac and got two wins apiece from SARAH OPRONDEK (high jump, pole vault) and GABBY WEBER (long jump, triple jump).
At Watseka. The Warriors lost a six-team boys' meet by a point to Momence and got four wins from CALEB PARSONS (110 hurdles, 100, 300 hurdles and 200).
Watseka's girls won a five-team meet, thanks to wins by TRISHA MARTIN (high jump, triple jump), JESSICA ALLHANDS (discus), EMILY ALLHANDS (shot put) and OLIVIA CLAIRE (400).
In girls' soccer
Monticello 4, Decatur Eisenhower 0. The Sages, who picked up their first win of the season, got a goal and an assist from EMMA REINBOLD.
Urbana University 8, Meridian 0. The visiting Illineks scored six times in the first half and got a hat trick from ABIGAIL RADNITZER. GRACE LILLY and CARMEN GEWIRTH each scored twice.
