FISHER — Three people were reported injured following an accident east of Fisher on Thursday night.
According to an Illinois State Police report, Chad D. Hanks, 39, of Rantoul was riding a 2002 Harley-Davidson east on U.S. 136 at 8 p.m. Thursday when his motorcycle struck a deer just east of County Road 700 E.
Police said that Hanks and a passenger, Laura L. Hanks, 36, of Rantoul, had moved to the south ditch of the road, but the motorcycle was still in the road after hitting the deer when the motorcycle was hit by an eastbound 2002 Toyota Corolla driven by Leslie R. Ingrum, 79, of Dewey.
Chad Hanks was listed in good condition Friday at Carle Foundation Hospital. Laura Hanks and Ingrum were treated and released from Carle.
