Armstrong-Potomac 13, Milford 3. Winning pitcher MORGAN ZINDARS had two hits and scored three runs to lead the host Trojans. SHANNON REARDON (two runs) collected three hits, and SHAYLA BOEM had two. Milford's ASHLEN PORTWOOD homered.
Charleston 8, Unity 0. The host Rockets were limited to three hits.
Armstrong-Potomac 7, Milford 2. DENTON LOSCHEN tossed a complete-game two-hitter with nine strikeouts and didn't allow an earned run to lead the host Trojans. LEWIS IRVIN had two hits to go along with two stolen bases.
Tri-Valley 5, Blue Ridge 1. The visiting Knights got an RBI from JEREMY DUBSON, who drove in TUCKER JOHNSON with their lone run.
Schlarman 8, Westville 7. CLEIN GARD's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth proved to be the difference for the Hilltoppers, who got four RBI from ALEC NEAL (three hits) and three from RONNIE SODERSTROM (two hits). Westville was led by NICK JONES and ZACH WACLAW, who each drove in two runs.

Danville First Baptist 4, Decatur Christian 0. JESSICA GREER and KIMMIE MONTGOMERY each scored twice for First Baptist.

At Catlin. Makenzie Baker was a four-event winner, leading Oakwood/Armstrong-Potomac past Schlarman 174-110 in the seven-school Vermilion Valley Conference girls' meet. Baker won all three jumping events as well as the 300-meter hurdles. Records were set by Hoopeston Area's Lauren Houmes in the 3,200 (11 minutes, 30 seconds) and the 1,600 (5:21), by Bismarck-Henning's Mary Bass in the 100 (12.5) and by Salt Fork's Toria Plotner in the 400 (1:01.28). Plotner was the meet's other double individual winner. She also won the 200, edging Bass.
At Paxton. Chelsea Blaase swept the distance races, setting a meet record in the 1,600 (5:21.67) as St. Joseph-Ogden captured team honors in the seven-school Sangamon Valley Conference girls' meet. Blaase also won the 3,200 (11:59.57). Other SJ-O individual winners were Jolee Paden (800), Tori Master (300 hurdles) and Rachel Ballard (triple jump). SJ-O totaled 153 points. Runner-up St. Thomas More had 113. The Sabers' Kathryn Boyer won the pole vault with a record-setting 10 feet, 6 inches.
At Paxton. Alex Arteaga (long jump, triple jump) won two events for St. Joseph-Ogden's Sangamon Valley Conference boys' champions as did teammate Sam Gilly (shot put and discus). The Spartans scored 192 points. Runner-up Watseka had 104 points, including four first-place efforts by Caleb Parsons (100, 200, 110 high hurdles and 300 intermediate hurdles). St. Thomas More's Nick Hess swept the distance races.
At Arthur. Arcola's girls won the Little Okaw Valley Conference championship behind two-time winners SAM REECE and TAYLOR EDWARDS. Reece won the 100 and 200, while Edwards claimed victories in the 400 and 800. Reece and Edwards were members of the winning 1,600 relay team along with ERIN LINDENMEYER and RACHEL FISHEL. Lindenmeyer and Edwards were on the victorious 3,200 relay team with KLAIRE KARMAZINAS and ALEXIS CONLIN. Conlin was the winner in the 3,200.
Runner-up South Piatt got wins from ANNA HENDRIX in the high jump and KALEY STANLEY in the long jump. Third-place Arthur got two wins from KARLY GOODMAN (shot put, discus), and fourth-place Villa Grove's AMANDA McCOLLOM won the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles.
At Arthur. Villa Grove won 11 events, led by three-time winner ADAM CRUTCHLEY, en route to winning the Little Okaw Valley Conference boys' met. Crutchley won the 800, 1,600 and 3,200. Teammate RYAN PEARCE won the shot put and discus, while RILEY BISHOP (100), TRAVIS ARNOLD (triple jump) and JOHN HENDERSON (110 hurdles) also claimed titles. Arnold, Bishop, Pearce and STEVEN MILLER were on the Blue Devils' winning 400 and 800 relay teams, and the 3,200 relay team of Crutchley, AUSTIN CARMACK, TYLER HARRISON and BRYCE BENEFIELD was also victorious.
Runner-up Arcola got wins from HECTOR SALINAS (200) and COREY ROBERTS (long jump).
At Tolono. Monticello claimed the Okaw Valley Conference boys' title behind a pair of wins from STEVE SCHROEDER (1,600 and 3,200). The Sages also got wins from TYLER SCOTT (110 hurdles) and ADAM AUTEN (discus). Runner-up Tuscola got individual wins from BROC SMITH (100) and SANTIAGO MARTINEZ (800). Smith, JEFF BROCH, BRANDON MILLS and CHRIS WEST teamed to win the 800 relay.
