Champaign-Urbana families flocked to downtown Urbana to celebrate Labor Day by watching a parade and having a picnic on Monday, Sept. 7, 2009.

Sidell celebrated 125 years Saturday, June 20, 2009, with an opening ceremony, tribute to veterans, a pretty baby contest, kiddie tractor pull, dunk tank, food, cool cars and cool drinks.

After the first day was rained out, the Taste of C-U drew large crowds on Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Champaign's West Side Park.

The North First Street Farmers' Market in Champaign made its debut Thursday afternoon, June 18 , 2009. The market will be open every Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. through August 27.
