The Ford County Fair is taking place in Melvin from July 9-15. The fair has livestock exhibits, carnival rides, food and family entertainment. On Tuesday, July 11, the fair also hosted the Illinois FFA Section 17 Fair.

The 58th Annual Champaign-Urbana Kiwanis Little League Tournament concluded Saturday with the Championship and Third Place games at Zahnd Park in southwestern Champaign. The tournament began in late June and featured every team in the league. The photos above are from games ranging from June 27 to July 8.

Champaign-Urbana's annual Fourth of July parade was held Tuesday in town. The event featured many floats and different organizations from C-U and surrounding areas. Thousands of people lined Lincoln and Florida Ave. in Urbana and Kirby St. in Champaign to watch the event.
