Pettyjohn Builders presents its 2002 entry into the Showcase
of Homes.
A comfortable floor plan with approximately 3,200 square feet on two
levels, with additional footage in the poured concrete basement.
We took a few of the most requested features in new construction and
built a home that is comfortable, stylish and realistically affordable.
The main level offers both formal and informal spaces with function
in mind. The rooms are designed to flow into one another providing little
waste of space in rooms that you will actually use. The intention behind
a great floor plan is to make it work for everyday living as well as
occasional entertaining. With this in mind, there is a large dining
room flanked with columns and arches. An open Great Room offers built-ins
for storage on either side of the fireplace. Directly off these two
rooms is the kitchen. Without a doubt, the most used room in the house!
This family favorite space has been finished with fine cabinetry, beautiful
textures, custom tile and stainless appliances. A massive granite island
with prep sink anchors the work zone, and provides additional seating.
There is easy access to the patio through the double sliding door.
As a buffer from garage to house, there is a large mudroom
with built-in bench and coat hooks, and a designated desk area for instant
organization. The laundry area also provides additional cabinets, large
laundry sink and folding counter.
Last but not least, another highly-requested feature in
new construction, a 1st floor Master Suite with elegant bath and large
walk-in closet.
Directly up the staircase in the two-story entry, there
is a good-sized study loft with built-ins for a computer and accessories.
There are also three bedrooms on the 2nd floor and another requested
feature, 2 additional full baths, ideal space for family and guests.
The basement fulfills yet another request in new construction,
offering a finished media room as well as plenty of storage.
This floor plan offers several different elevations and
is adaptable to various price points.
