THE CARRINGTON Signature Homes is proud to introduce the Carrington as its 2002 showcase home. The Carrington offers many of the features today's homebuyer's desire. The first floor features a unique layout with a rear staircase separating the family room and kitchen areas. The open staircase with wrought iron spindles ties all three finished levels together. Also located on the first floor are the formal living and dining room and the laundry room. The second floor features a master retreat with a sitting room separated by an arched opening with columns on either side. The remaining three bedrooms are good size. The basement is designed for entertainment. Two egress size windows provide plenty of daylight for the game room. The finished basement also includes a wet bar and media room. The exterior of the home is a combination of brick and vinyl siding. The vinyl siding has a solid core backing that cuts down on noise and adds insulation value.The front elevation is traditional in design with a wrap around front porch. The staff of Signature Homes works with each customer to make the building process enjoyable. Bill Peifer the general contractor meets with customers to discuss building plans and schedules and coordinates each home. Tom Britton is the company's superintendent and also is in charge of warranty service. His contact with customers includes a pre move in punch-list, A 30-60 day visit after move in, and a one-year home inspection. Amy Rohrer is the office manager. Some of her responsibilities include organizing customer jobs and routing phone calls to the proper person. Teresa Peifer is Signature Homes marketing manager. Her duties include brochure work and updating the web site, including the schedule and customer selections, which are available for customers to view on line during the building process.
