CHAMPAIGN – – A 21-year-old man from Mitchell, injured Friday during the Unofficial St. Patrick's Day festivities, remained in serious condition Monday.
Champaign police spokeswoman Rene Dunn refused to release the name of the man who was injured when he fell from an apartment balcony in the 800 block of South Fourth Street, Champaign, about 6:30 p.m. Friday, citing his right to privacy.
She said the man's condition had been listed as critical on Saturday.
Neighbors at a house near the apartment said the man fell as he was trying to climb from a third-floor balcony to a fourth-floor balcony.
