Draft status

De'Andre Hunter might have climbed even higher in the lottery come June's NBA draft. Not only did the 6-foot-7 Virginia wing drop 27 points in the Cavaliers' championship win, but he locked up fellow lottery pick Jarrett Culver.

Blue blood bonus

Duke and Kentucky are still going to lose key pieces of their lineups to the NBA draft, but the bluest of blue bloods got good news this week. Point guards Tre Jones and Ashton Hagans returning, respectively, makes the reloads easier this offseason.

Sparty party

The end of one college basketball seasons means a rash of "way-too-early" top 25s in the aftermath of the NCAA championship game. Tom Izzo's Michigan State program was ranked No. 1 by ESPN, CBSSports, USA Today and Sports Illustrated.
