BOB and JODY GORDON, who have traveled the country this spring to cheer on their baseball-playing son TANNER, won't need to gas up to watch him pitch Saturday.

The Indiana Hoosiers right-hander is scheduled to start against the Illini in Champaign.

"Super excited," said Bob, who is roasting a pig for what promises to be a crowded and festive tailgate party before Saturday's 3 p.m. start. "Having him play back in Champaign-Urbana, in front of what used to be the home crowd, will be fun."

We'll have more on the impressive rise of Tanner, who last pitched in C-U in 2016 as a senior at Champaign Central, later in the week.
