Zook pulling for Mallory

Illinois co-defensive coordinator Curt Mallory has emerged as a favorite to become head coach at Miami (Ohio), according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Ron Zook told HQ on Monday "I'm biased toward Curt. I'd  like to see Curt become the head coach at Miami."

In other news, Zook said he's feeling well after undergoing shoulder surgey on Friday.

The only opponent the Illini "D" held under 20 points was mighty Indiana (who rang up 13). I hope Mallory gets the Miami of Ohio job, too!

I too am pulling for Mallory to get the job. That way, 2 of the 3 coordinators that I want gone will be gone. Only one left to be gone (or perhaps reassigned) would be Disch. The only remaining present I want from Santa!!!

YES! We're almost there! Disch and Woodford still need to go. I am leaving a few extra cookies for Santa...
