“It was my comfortability level. I feel comfortable with the school, the players and the coaches. I feel that Illinois is going in a winning direction. When it came right down to it, I feel Illinois is the best place for me.”
What’s your favorite moment in football?
“My junior year, when we made it to the final four in the playoffs.”
Who is your favorite football player, college or pro?
“I like DeMarcus Ware a lot.”
Favorite football movie?
“ ‘Remember the Titans.’ It had a lot of different aspects to it and it’s a great football movie.”
What is your hidden talent?
“If I have any, I haven’t found them yet.”
Are you playing in the Missouri game?
“I’m looking to. It all depends on if I’m ready. But I’m planning to play in that game.”
What do you need to improve most before starting college?
“I need to improve on overall strength. I don’t think there’s any part of my game I can’t improve on. I need to put on weight to play defensive end in Division I footbal. Before basketball season, I was up to 220. But I’ve shed about 10 pounds.”
