Illinois offensive tackle Corey Lewis, who missed the 2010 season with a torn ACL, has reinjured the same leg.

Lewis had exploratory surgery on the leg and the procedure went well. Illinois coach Ron Zook is waiting for an update from team medical personnel, but is confident Lewis will be able to play in 2011.

Lewis, a projected starter in 2010 before his spring injury, is expected to slide in at right tackle for departed Ryan Palmer. With Lewis, Illinois will have four returning starters on the offensive line.
