Times set for first two Illinois home games

The Illinois football opener against Western Michigan on Sept. 1 and the Sept 15 home game against Charleston Southern will both kick off at 11 a.m.

ESPNU will televise the Illinois-Western Michigan game, a rematch of a 2011 game won by the Illini. The BTN will handle Illinois-Charleston Southern on Sept. 15. It's the first game ever between the schools.

More television announcements will be coming soon, including the Sept. 8 Illinois-Arizona State game at Tempe, Ariz. Rights for that game are held by the Pac-12.
