Camp Rantoul schedule set
Illinois has announced the dates for its training camp. The team reports to Rantoul on Sunday and starts practice Monday.
Here is the schedule:
Monday: Practice 1a (blue) 9 a.m. Rantoul
Practice 1b (orange) 4:45 p.m. Rantoul
Aug. 7: Practice 2a (blue) 9 a.m. Rantoul
Practice 2b (orange) 4:45 p.m. Rantoul
Aug. 8: Practice 3a (blue) 9 a.m. Rantoul
Practice 3b (orange) 4:45 p.m. Rantoul
Aug. 9: Practice 4 9 a.m. Rantoul
Aug. 10: Practice 5 9 am Rantoul, Ill.
Aug. 11: Practice 6 9 a.m. Rantoul
Practice 7 5 p.m. Rantoul
Aug. 12: Practice 8 9 a.m. Rantoul
Aug. 12: Fan Appreciation Day 5 p.m. Memorial Stadium
Aug. 13: Practice 9 9 a.m. Champaign
Practice 10 5 p.m. Champaign.
Aug. 14: Practice 11 2:30 p.m.
Aug. 15: Practice 12 4 p.m. Champaign
Aug. 16: Practice 13 9 a.m. Champaign
Practice 14 7:30 p.m. Champaign
Aug. 17: Practice 15 4 p.m. Champaign
Aug. 18: Practice 16 9 a.m. Champaign
Practice 17 7:30 p.m. Champaign
Aug. 20: Practice 18 9 a.m. Champaign

Will the practices in rantoul and champaign be open for the general public to view? Not having the scrimmage in the hs stadium in rantoul is a Hugh Mistake. This always gave the parents an opportunity to see their sons play under the lights. If not in rantoul, have the scrimmage at memorial stadium. Bad pr move here for the football public in general. Anyway, Go Illini!
