Game-time decision for Scheelhaase

Game-time decision for Scheelhaase

CHAMPAIGN — Injured Illinois quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase practiced with the team Thursday, according to a UI spokesperson, but no decision on the junior's status for Saturday's game at Arizona State will be made until game time.

Illinois coaches and players are not made available to the media on Thursdays during game week.

Scheelhaase injured his left ankle in last week's win against Western Michigan and left the game in the third quarter.

If Scheelhaase, who has started all 27 games in his career, can't go, Illinois coach Tim Beckman said Wednesday that either sophomore Reilly O'Toole or junior Miles Osei would start.
