Monday morning QB: DuVernois honored, 9/28 kickoff set

Not all was lost Saturday at Soldier Field. Illinois punter Justin DuVernois on Monday was named Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week.

The junior averaged 45.2 yards on five punts against Washington, dropping three inside the 20. It's the first time an Illini was won STPOW since Derek Dimke in 2011.

Also, the Illini's game against  Miami (Ohio) on Sept. 28 will kick off at  - you guessed it - 11 a.m..
