Want to know which of Saturday’s games are worth your while? Here’s the scoop from sports editor JIM ROSSOW, who predicted like Adam Wainwright pitched (a 5-0 week):

Indiana at Michigan State
11 a.m., ESPN2

Even Tom Izzo, a regular at Spartan Stadium, has to be impressed: The hurryin’ Hoosiers are running one play every 19.9 seconds. As a result, 23 of their 32 scoring drives have taken three minutes or less (11 have taken less than a minute).
Rossow’s pick: Indiana, 28-21

Nebraska at Purdue
11 a.m., BTN

For the teams’ first meeting since Loren Tate was a whippersnapper (1958), Boilermakers are giving true freshman Danny Etling his first start at quarterback. Dating to Len Dawson’s debut against Notre Dame in 1954, first-time Purdue starting QBs are 7-9.
Rossow’s pick: Nebraska, 42-17

No. 19 Northwestern
at Wisconsin
2:30 p.m., WICD (ABC)

Chris Collins will be a happy first-year coach if his basketball-playing Wildcats score like Pat Fitzgerald’s guys. Northwestern has scored at least 30 points in seven consecutive games. Only Baylor (10) has a longer streak.
Rossow’s pick: Northwestern, 30-28

No. 18 Michigan at Penn State
4 p.m., ESPN

It’s a big night in Happy Valley (whiteout, homecoming, ex-Nittany Lion Matt Millen in the TV booth). But freshman Christian Hackenberg doesn’t need special effects to put up big numbers. Already, he is one of four Penn State quarterbacks with multiple 300-yard passing games (he has two in five games). The others: Matt McGloin (six), Kerry Collins (four) and Daryll Clark (three).
Rossow’s pick: Michigan, 27-21

Coaches like to take it one game at a time. Not us:
