Top 50 most important Illini: No. 45, Kievan Myers

Vitals: 6-5, 330, OL

Hometown: Dallas

High School: Bishop Dunne

Looking back at 2017: Myers earned multiple all-state honors following his senior season after being a key piece of the Bishop Dunne line that blocked for an offense that passed for more than 1,600 yards and rushed for nearly the same. A high school teammate of fellow 2018 signee Calvin Avery, Myers was ranked as a consensus top 60 guard in the country by Rivals, ESPN and 247Sports.

Looking ahead to 2018: Take a look at some recent social media posts, and it appears Myers has already slimmed down a little and toned up his big frame. More of that will come this summer. Myers will likely find a place in Illinois' two-deep as a true freshman, and he could be seen as the heir apparent at guard behind Nick Allegretti.
