Small ties for 26th at Illinois Open

GLENVIEW — Illinois men’s golf coach Mike Small finished in a tie for 26th place, carding a final-round 75 (216 total) Wednesday at the 63rd Illinois Open.
Former Illini Zach Barlow tied for 14th after shooting a final-round 68 and finishing at 214.
Max Scodro of Chicago parred the fifth playoff hole (No. 18) to defeat 2010 Illinois Open champion Eric Meierdierks of Wilmette.
