I played two seasons for the Illini basketball team after transferring from Iowas Indian Hills Community College. My given first name was Burie, and I once buried a career-best 29 points vs. Illinois-Chicago in 1993. Perhaps my best game at Illinois came in an overtime victory against Iowa when I scored 25 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. At 6-foot-9 and 260 pounds, my proclivity for fouling was legendary, but I managed to average 11 points and nine rebounds through 54 collegiate games.
