Against No. 2 seed Duke in the first round of the 2008 NCAA tournament, Andy Wicke's baseline three-pointer got Belmont within 69-68 with 2:25 left and brought the sold-out Verizon Center crowd to its feet. The 15th-seeded Bruins would take a one-point lead on the next possession before losing the memorable tournament game on Gerald Henderson's basket with 11 seconds left.


Justin Tubbs' three-pointer against Mercer University in the finals of the 2010 Atlantic Sun Conference tournament sent the Buccaneers to their second straight NCAA tournament (and ninth all time).


On Jan. 8, 2005, Ryan Hopkins made the 300th three-pointer of his career in just his 74th career game, a 96-75 win against Saint Leo. Hopkins finished as FGCU's all-time leader with 355 triples in just 88 games (three seasons). He once had 12 in a game.


Marcus Allen's three-pointer with 32 seconds left in overtime lifted Jacksonville to its first regular season conference title with an 87-85 win at Belmont to end the Bruins' three-year reign atop the Atlantic Sun Conference.


On Feb. 18, 2012, at North Florida, Delbert Love made a three-pointer from the left corner with two seconds left to force overtime. The Owls would eventually fall 81-77.


In the inaugural game of Lipscomb's Allen Arena and in the Bison's first game as an NCAA member, Clayton Osborne hit a 65-foot shot as time expired for a 75-74 win against North Texas on Nov. 27, 2001.


EJ Kusnyer set a school single-game record with eight three-pointers in a Dec. 10, 2009, home win against Piedmont. Hitting threes was part of Kusnyer's deal during his career with the Bears. He holds the school record for season and career three-pointers. He had 107 during the 2009-10 campaign.


Against Kennesaw State on Feb. 20, 2011, Jerron Granberry hit a trey with :02 left in double overtime to force a third extra session in what is the longest game in school history. The Ospreys won to start a five-game win streak that led to their first appearance in the Atlantic Sun Conference tournament championship game.


Forget about the men — the school's biggest three was by Victoria McGowan, who made a 55-foot heave at the buzzer to beat Belmont 48-46 in the 2011 Atlantic Sun Conference tournament semifinals. The Hatters would go on to beat Jacksonville the next day for the championship and advance to the NCAA tournament for the second time in program history.
