Illinois offers Centennial's Finke

CHAMPAIGN - Michael Finke's list of scholarship offers continues to grow.

And the latest addition has special meaning.

Illinois coach John Groce extended a scholarship offer today, Finke said. His father, Jeff, played football and basketball for the Illini. A 6-foot-9 junior at Centennial, Finke also has Big Ten offers from Iowa and Wisconsin.

I remember seeing your dad play ball at Illinois. Good luck on your college choice. Go Illini!

Hope he turns out as good as Brian Cardinal. And if that happens, hope its with ILL , But hey kid,

this is your choice. You have to like everything about your choice.  Academics, team, coaches,

area, so do not let anyone make you feel bad if you do not go here. Good luck.
