No conference had as many teams crack the preseason USA Today/ESPN Top 25 Poll than the Big Ten. Illinois, as expected, didn't receive any votes.

Five B10 teams in the top 25 along with Missouri and Notre Dame and no Illinois. Note even one vote. According to that poll we are not even in the top 45! Ouch! Also notice that FSU is also in the top 25.  Note also that our latest recruiting losses went to...ND and FSU.


But the most frustrating of all is seeing Indiana ranked #1.  The same Indiana just a few years ago that Weber proudly said "they are going to suck". Talk about bulletin board material.


At least we got rid of Squeaks. Good luck to John Groce and the team. There is no where to go but up. But it could be a long road.
