This is where they should have been ranked and relegated to from the outset. Maybe now Bushleague Jackson and Oracle Tate will scale back the cheerleading. Just put the blame where it belongs -- you know, on the fans.

I don’t know about all that, but they are about where they should be, and after last year, where we could have hoped… I do think they let the top 10 – 12 ranking get in their heads and might have made them tighten up trying to maintain it… these guys aren’t the toughest out there and seem to play better out of the spot light and under the radar.i think they'll losen up and play better now

weren't they like #14 this time last year?  Will be a function of winning close games...couldn't do that last year then it all snow-balled.  Let's get the winning going again and we'll be fine.

... and yet, there the Illini are with wins over Butler (13,13), Ohio State (11,11) and Gonzaga (8,8).

Remember how bad OSU looked at Assembly Hall?  Well if Michigan had beaten OSU, Michigan would've been the #1 team in the rankings this week.

The B1G has a bunch of really good teams and most of the others are still tough to beat on their home court.  There are no gimmes in this conference.  Get used to it...
