Richardson honored
The Big Ten on Monday named D.J. Richardson its co-Player of the Week, the senior from Peoria sharing the honor with Wisconsin's Ben Brust.
Richardson averaged 18 points on 50-percent shooting in wins against No. 1 Indiana and No. 18 Minnesota. It's his first POW and the Illini's first since Tracy Abrams got the nod Dec. 31, 2012.
