Tourney preview: Nebraska

All day, we'll break down each team's chances at the Big Ten tournament at the United Center:

No 10 seed: Nebraska

Their coach ... is the funniest guy from the state since Johnny Carson. Tim Miles didn’t win many games in Year 1 but won over plenty of fans with his humor and humility.

Their MVP ... is the school’s first All-Big Ten honoree. Guard Dylan Talley, an honorable mention pick, led the Huskers in scoring (14.2) and assists (2.5) and really came on late, averaging 17.1 points the second half of conference play.

Their Chicago connection ... is the Polish Rifle. That’d be Eric Piatkowski, a Cornhuskers legend who played two seasons with Scott Skiles’ Bulls in the mid-2000s,

They’ll cut down the nets if ... like in golf, low score wins. Even Coach can’t laugh about the team’s inability to score the basketball, the Cornhuskers averaging a Big Ten-worst 58.6 points. Indiana gets that much in a half.

They’ll be bummed if ... the Big Ten bans in-game tweeting. Miles has entertained his followers all season with a halftime message.
We see the Cornhuskers ... winning the Legends Division again this fall.
