Coleman-Lands selected for Jordan game

Illinois basketball signee Jalen Coleman-Lands has been selected o play in the Jordan Brand Classic game on April 17 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Coleman-Lands, a 6-foot-3 guard from Indianapolis, is one of 26 players selected to play in the game. The LaLumiere School senior will participate on the East team alongside Illinois natives Jalen Brunson and Charles Matthews.

Other Big Ten signees selected to participate in the game are Denote Davis (Michigan State) and Austin Grandstaff (Ohio State).

Coleman-Lands, who was in attendance for Illinois’ home finale against Nebraska on Wednesday, is a four-star prospect rated 35th in the 247Sports composite. He’s ranked 32nd by ESPN,  39th by Rivals and 40th by Scout.
