A double-double for the St. Louis native — 21 points and 13 rebounds — shined a light on two key struggles for Illinois on Thursday night. The Illini struggled to rebound or keep Cook from doing whatever he wanted on the block.

Trent Frazier has left no doubt during the last month that this has become his Illini team. His wild, buzzer-beating three-pointer gave him a team-high 27 points and at least a chance in overtime for the Illini.

Cook wasn't the only Hawkeyes big man with a double-double. Luke Garza put up 19 points and 11 rebounds of his own as Iowa crushed the Illini on the boards with a 45-26 advantage.

In a matchup of two teams that aren't shy about using their depth, Illinois proved to be more productive when it went to its bench. Aaron Jordan knocking down four three-pointers didn't hurt.
