SCOTT'S TAKE: Could Clemson have had a worse week? Sure, the Tigers picked up their 16th win of the season Saturday by beating Notre Dame, but then they lost out on 2018 five-star Zion Williamson to Duke. That was followed by finding out they'll be without senior forward Donte Grantham for the rest of the season after he tore his ACL in the win against the Fighting Irish. Somebody give Brad Brownell a hug.

SCOTT'S TAKE: Mike Thomas hired Matt Bollant away from Green Bay after he went 177-22 with four NCAA tournament appearances in five seasons with the Phoenix. Green Bay has sustained that level of play under Kevin Borseth with a 152-29 record and four more tourney bids since Bollant left. Bollant lasted five seasons at Illinois and posted a 61-94 record, while Nancy Fahey is 9-12 and 0-7 in the Big Ten after replacing him.
