SCOTT'S TAKE: It was a wild week with the Top 25 combining for 18 losses and the top three teams all losing. It was a wild week in College Station, too. Texas A&M beat Auburn and Kentucky and got back on our ballot for the first time since Jan. 1. How long the Aggies will last is the question after JJ Caldwell was dismissed from the team and Jay Jay Chandler suspended after both were charged with marijuana possession.

SCOTT'S TAKE: South Florida also got back on our ballot this week after an 84-65 drubbing of Ohio State. Only one of the Bulls' five losses could be considered bad, but that eight-point loss to a 10-win Wichita State team sent them tumbling from consideration. A rare February nonconference game got them back in the picture, with Kitija Laksa hitting eight threes and dropping 41 points on the Buckeyes the primary reason.
