SCOTT'S TAKE: All last week did was confirm that nothing is guaranteed in college basketball this season. Being a top-10 team just means you have further to fall when you eventually lose — because it will happen. So long, Cincinnati. Thanks for playing, Purdue. We hardly knew you, Clemson. The shuffle in the top half of our ballot continued, and a mix of familiar and one new team slipped back in at the bottom.

SCOTT'S TAKE: Let's be real. No one is going to beat UConn the rest of the regular season or in the AAC tournament. Fellow unbeaten Mississippi State has a tougher road in the SEC, but the Bulldogs will be the favorite in all of their remaining games and into the SEC tournament. So it's up to the NCAA. If they're both undefeated heading into March Madness, do the right thing and put them on opposite sides of the bracket.
