A grade of D for both football and basketball?  Both head coaches being fired? Sounds like F's were a more deserving grade.  I might give football a pass for managing a bowl win. A rare, in fact, un-precedented back to back bowl win. For that I'm willing to give football a D. But, basketball's complete breakdown late in the season AND missing even the NIT has to be an F in my book.

Let's hope we can manage at least a B minus or C with the arrow pointing up for both programs longer term. Both have a lot to overcome but I think we are starting with a stronger foundation with both programs versus the coaches they replaced. We'll know in a year or two.

What a turn around the last month was for men's tennis. Big Ten Championship and Sweet Sixteen. We lose our top two but lots of good talent coming in so it should be interesting next year.
