Illini up to No. 11

One week after attaining its highest national ranking ever, the Illinois women''s soccer team did it again. Janet Rayfield''s Illini moved up one spot to No. 11 on Monday in the NSCAA/adidas Top 25.
Illinois (13-3-2) is the No. 2 seed in this week''s Big Ten tournament at Madison, Wis. The Illini open against seventh-seeded Michigan State (12-7-0) at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
Illinois also was ranked 11th by Soccer Buzz magazine on Monday, an improvement of one spot from last week.
