Illinois hosted the Illini swimming & diving meet at ARC pool Monday January 20, 2014.

Track teams win home meet

CHAMPAIGN — Brandon Stryganek and David Kendziera each won two events to lead the Illinois men’s track and field team to the title of the Illini Classic at the UI Armory.

The Illini had 13 top-three finishers and scored 227.50 points to win the seven-team meet by 125 points.

FLUSHING, N.Y. —  Amer Delic was the first Illinois men’s tennis player to reach the ITA National Indoor Championship final in 2002.

CHAMPAIGN — Illinois outshot No. 10 Michigan but couldn’t capitalize on its scoring opportunities and lost 2-0 Friday night in a Big Ten women’s soccer match at Illinois Soccer Stadium.
