Ex-Illini move on

Former Illini Yvonne Harrison and Tonja Buford-Bailey advanced to the second round of the 400-meter hurdles Sunday at the World Championships in Edmonton, Alberta.

Harrison, competing for Puerto Rico, finished fourth in her heat in 55.63 seconds. Buford-Bailey, competing for the United States, was second fastest in her heat, clocking 54.99.
