Breeana Coleman of Olathe, Kan., is transferring to the UI after one season at Arkansas. In high school, she won six state titles, sweeping the 100 meters, 200 meters and 100 hurdles during her junior and senior seasons.
Asia Thomas of Cape Girardeau, Mo., won a state title in the 400 as a junior in a state-record time of 54.49 seconds.

Middle-distance runner Chloe Schmidt of State College, Pa., was a five-time state champion and six-time state runner-up.
