Women's basketball TV dates set

CHAMPAIGN — At least eight Illinois women’s basketball games will be televised during the  2013-14 season, including a minimum of seven on the Big Ten Network.

BTN will air Illini games on Jan. 3 against Wisconsin; Jan. 9 against Penn State; Jan. 12 against Nebraska; Jan. 18 at Michigan; Jan. 27 against Purdue; Feb. 13 at Iowa; and Feb. 22 at Indiana.

In addition, Illinois’ non-conference game at Georgia on Dec. 28 will be carried on CSS, a regional sports network in the southeastern U.S. that is available only on cable.

BTN also could select either or both of Illinois’ final two regular-season games — Feb. 27 at Nebraska and March 2 against Iowa — for airing. Decisions on those contests are expected to be announced by the network in early February.
