Preps coordinator COLIN LIKAS caught up with all 10 members of our 2019 N-G All-Area girls' basketball team:

Harley Barry | G, Sr., Tri-County

Why she made the team: Barry was a game-changer even with Tayler Barry and Kiersten Price-Wilson leading Class 1A's fourth-place team in scoring, as the elder Barry averaged 11.3 points, ranked third locally in assists per game (4.5) and led the area in steals (5.4).

Capria Brown | F, Jr., Schlarman

Why she made the team: A serious threat in transition and shooting from distance, the three-time All-Area first-team selection and Division I recruit averaged 18.9 points on 62.7 percent field accuracy, sank 24 three-pointers and dished out 3.4 assists per game for the repeat Class 1A state champions.

Why she made the team: The Parkland College signee proved a perfect complement for teammate Bree Trimble on Class 2A's third-place squad, with Crowe averaging 11.8 points, nailing 24 three-pointers and shooting 82.4 percent from the free-throw line.

Why she made the team: Our three-time Player of the Year and four-time first-team All-Area pick averaged 20 points per game for the Class 1A state champs while shooting 57.8 percent from the field, adding averages of 7.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists. She was also named a McDonald's All-American and chosen for the Jordan Brand Classic.
