HOOPESTON – Erin Henk outhit Oakwood all by herself.

The Hoopeston Area starter threw a one-hitter and also had two hits and scored three runs to lift the Cornjerkers to an 11-0 prep softball victory against the Comets on Monday.

Ariel Hardcastle (three RBI) and Brandy Patterson (three runs scored) each added a pair of hits for Hoopeston.

B-H 14, G-RF 9. Marci Rife had four hits and two RBI and Britney Ault pitched a complete game for host Bismarck-Henning against Georgetown-Ridge Farm.

In girls' soccer:

Danville 2, Mattoon 0. Janelle Hensold scored in the first half and Melissa Adams added a tally in the second half for the host Vikings. Amanda Bodine made eight saves to grab her first shutout of the year.

Tri-Valley 7, GCMS 0. Emily McCready struck out 16 in seven innings as the Titans blanked Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley.

Tuscola 1, Sangamon Valley 0. Kelsi Hoey struck out nine to move her record to 3-0 in the home win. Liz Anderson had two hits, two stolen bases and scored the winning run on a hit by Kaliegh Zyskowski.

Iroquois West 4, Milford 1. Karlyn Wilken pitched six innings and Ashley Morris had two hits and two RBI to lift the host Raiders.

Arcola 16, Heritage 0. Tori Anderson allowed one hit to win her second game for the host Purple Raiders. Paige Sosamon had three hits and six RBI to provide the offensive punch.

L-A 15, Villa Grove 2. Alex Tucker gave up six hits to pace visiting Lovington-Arthur.

SJ-O 15, Central 0. Ashley Runck threw her second perfect game of the year for St. Joseph-Ogden. She had four strikeouts in the five-inning game and collected four hits and scored twice against Champaign Central.

Fisher 10, Lexington 0. Kandis Gosser threw a one-hitter and Kristi Morgan had four hits in the Bunnies' first win of the season.

Blue Ridge 4, LeRoy 0. Ashley Elliott struck out 14 while giving up just one hit and two walks at home. Mel Enger delivered a three-run double in the fourth.

Neoga 8, Sullivan 6. Carrie Kuhns had two hits and two RBI and Natalie Hughes had three hits and one RBI, but the Redskins lost at home.

Cerro Gordo 10, South Piatt 9. Brittany Weaver had two singles, a double and a triple and Kelsey Hatch won on the road.

In girls' track and field:

At Clifton. The two-girl team of Heidi McKean and Betsy Bauer won six events to help Cissna Park finish fourth out of six teams. McKean won the 100-meter hurdles (18.68 seconds), the triple jump (31 feet, 4 inches), the 300 hurdles (51.75) and the 200 (28.96), and Bauer won the 3,200 (13 minutes, 59 seconds) and the 1,600 (6:24).
